Respite Care for Family Caregivers

Staff and Patients making conversation

Caring for a loved one is meaningful—and demanding. Everyone needs time to rest, attend appointments, or simply recharge.
Respite care provides temporary, non-medical support so family caregivers can step away, knowing their loved one is in good hands.

What Respite Care Includes

While you take a break, our caregivers can:

  • Provide companionship and conversation
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare light meals and snacks
  • Offer medication reminders
  • Provide safety supervision and mobility support
  • Help with light housekeeping

Respite can be scheduled as a one-time block of time, occasional coverage, or regularly occurring visits. We offer flexible schedules with 2 hour visit minimums and no weekly hour minimums for care.

Benefits of Respite

Respite care can help:

  • Reduce caregiver stress and burnout
  • Improve patience and emotional resilience
  • Provide time for personal appointments and self-care
  • Support family relationships by sharing the caregiving load
